How to Be A Good Neighbor: Local Nonprofits

Detours happen. The good news is, we all have the ability to be good neighbors in the midst of one. If you’re looking for a practical way to give back to local nonprofits during this pandemic, below are some ways to get involved.

Blood Donations

The healthcare industry is concerned about potential blood shortages in the future. Consider making an appointment and donating blood to those in need during this time at an LCBC location's blood drive or at a blood drive location near you.

*In order to stay safe and give blood during this time, please make an appointment for a time during the drive with the information provided for each drive.

LCBC West Shore
Make an appointment online to give blood on the following dates
*Save the Date - Red Cross will open up appointments for each date as it gets closer

  • July 16 (12:30-6pm)

Each location is currently working to support blood drives during this time. Check back for additional information on dates and locations.
