Start by reading Colossians 1:15-17
Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together.
Today's Prayer:
God, the scriptures teach in Jesus all things are held together. In this time where my family is experiencing so much, could you keep us together too? Help us bring order to the chaos of our schedules, our relationships, and our new “normal” while treating each other the way you have treated us. (Pray about two or three specific dynamics or conflicts within your family). I trust you to keep all of it together. Amen.
