Start by reading Psalm 139: 13-14
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
Today's Prayer:
God, this year has challenged my foundation to its very core. Having life completely rearranged has been pretty stressful. Can you help me remember that who I am is not what I do or what I have? I am created in your image, your beloved child, and adopted into the safest relationship I could ever enter. Forgive me for when I want to be known more for my job than as your child, when I judge myself by how successful I am, or find myself looking for attention from others (Name the two or three areas in which you need to find contentment from God). I have everything I could ever need in you. Amen.
