Day 32

Paul begins with a question that still troubles Christians today, “If Jesus paid for all my sin, why not continue sinning?” Paul rejects this thinking and expresses surprise that anyone would want to return to a shameful way of life. Why would anyone choose to be less than what they could be in their relationship with Jesus? We are finally free to live lives pleasing to God! People who are addicted to something often long to be free of that addiction. Paul sees sin as an addiction and is thrilled to be free from it. How do you view sin? Is it something that would be fun to do or as a self-destructive addiction?
