Didn鈥檛 these people see the disasters in Egypt and the entire army destroyed in the Red Sea? Hadn鈥檛 these people been provided with food and water throughout their journey? Why couldn鈥檛 they see that God was going to continue to give them victory and protection? The result is they get to wait longer for what God is going to provide and lose their opportunity to enjoy it.
Philippians 4:6 tells us not to worry about anything, but to ask God for what we need. Unfortunately, people don鈥檛 always do that very well. We forget the things God has done for us in the past and only look at the things in front of us that have us worried. How much enjoyment of God鈥檚 provision has been missed due to lack of trusting him?
