James talks about how we treat others in the first part of this chapter and, in the second part, how the things we do should be consistent with our faith.
James appears to be confused by people who say they believe in Jesus, but live lives that don鈥檛 demonstrate it. If a person has faith that flying in an airplane is safe, one would expect that person to be willing to fly in one. If a person truly has faith in Jesus, one would expect the person to want to obey what Jesus has said. |
