The remaining three churches are covered in this chapter. Sardis looks good but isn鈥檛, Philadelphia is doing the best it can in a negative situation, and Laodicea thinks it鈥檚 in good shape but isn鈥檛.
We鈥檇 all like to think we are like Philadelphia, but maybe we are self-deceived like Sardis or Laodicea. We need to focus on the basics of living our lives for Jesus and not being distracted by pursuing wealth, reputation or comfort. We want to be those people who stick it out in hard times or stand out as one who has not soiled their clothes.
