Salvation
Jesus describes Himself as the good shepherd. He warns about Satan who is a false shepherd, but those who truly follow Jesus will not be deceived. Satan is self-seeking; Jesus wants only what is best for us. He even laid His life down for His sheep. Jesus being our shepherd not only gives us eternal life, it gives us a better life here on earth.
Maybe you are trusting Jesus for your eternity, but are you trusting Him to guide you in life? He only wants what is best for you.
