Although God chose David to be king when he was still a boy, God鈥檚 plan eventually doesn鈥檛 become a reality until years later. David is finally made king over all of Israel and establishes Jerusalem as the capital city. This serves as Israel鈥檚 capital even today. The impact of David鈥檚 reign is still felt in our time. This day has been a long time in coming, but it has been worth the wait. Today we wait for Christ鈥檚 return. It too seems to be taking a long time, but it will be worth the wait!
