Judah
Asa is one of Judah’s best kings. Asa begins his reign by getting rid of objects of worship that would turn people away from God. God gives him success both in peace and in war.
Asa serves as a great example for all of us. In times when life is going well, we need to faithfully remove the things from our lives that will distract us from our relationship with God. That way in times when we are challenged, we will be ready to trust in God for help.
