Jesus
Today鈥檚 events are in sharp contrast to what we have been reading! Jesus moves from demonstrations of his power to being put on trial, tortured and killed. One who throughout his life did everything for people鈥檚 benefit is killed by those who are intimidated by his love.
We can only pause here and be amazed at the sacrifice Jesus made for us. We should be thankful the God of the universe would love us enough to send his Son to die a cruel death to pay for our sin.
