Prayer
Jesus gives His followers a model for prayer and says that prayer is a way we show our devotion to God. It shouldn鈥檛 be something we do in public just to look good to others. The prayer has both praises to God and requests for things the person praying needs. The needs are both spiritual and physical.
Prayer is talking to God. He loves us and wants to be in conversation with us. The conversations don鈥檛 need to be memorized or follow a formula; they need to be honest and show our dependence on God. Today, you are reading the Bible; that鈥檚 God talking to you. Don鈥檛 forget to pray as well; that鈥檚 your side of the conversation.
