Forgiveness
Peter was Jewish and had been taught that Gentiles, or non-Jews, were not loved by God. Peter understands that he was forgiven because of Jesus’ death but needs some convincing to understand that Gentiles can also be forgiven. By the time we get to verse 43, Peter says anyone who believes in Jesus is forgiven.
Our prejudices are probably different than Peter’s, but we still have them. Are there people we believe are beyond God’s forgiveness? Are there people we believe God can forgive, but with whom we decide not to share Jesus?
