Read 2 Corinthians 13:12
Different Context, Same Principle
In 2 Corinthians 13:12, the Apostle Paul tells believers that they should greet one another with a kiss.
Right off the bat, let’s clear the air: that’s probably not something you should do at your next business meeting or the next time you walk into church.
But in those days, a kiss was a culturally accepted way to greet one another. So perhaps today it’s not a kiss, but a handshake, or a hug, or an arm around the shoulder.
Contexts change, but the principle remains: touch helps us connect! Don’t miss the power in that!
