Taking Sin Seriously
Perhaps, as you've read through the Sermon on the Mount the past week and a half, you've noticed that Jesus raises the bar on how his followers should deal with sin.
Anger is like murder in our hearts.
Lust is like adultery in our hearts.
Good deeds with bad motives are worthless.
Cut off the hand that causes you to sin.
The question is, are we following Jesus' lead on this, or have we grown complacent with our sin?
