Over the last year over 11,000 individuals from LCBC have taken Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (FPU) in order to help write a new story for everyone who calls LCBC home.

Over 2,500 people from our church have learned the principles of wise money management, and the results have been incredible. In just one FPU class alone (about 61 households) $318,872 of debt was paid off, $175,125.66 cash was saved, and 132 credit cards were cut up.

Financial Peace University FAQs

Financial Peace University is a 9-week course taught by America's most trusted financial advisor, Dave Ramsey. Dave and his teaching team will walk you through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more.
Some FPU Groups meet in homes and others meet on-site across our locations. Regardless of where you meet, our time is centered around discussion. We’ll watch a 45-minute video lesson where Dave Ramsey will walk us through the basics of budgeting, dumping debt, planning for the future, and much more. We'll wrap up with a group discussion, Q&A, and celebration of people who are taking their next step. Each week there will be homework to keep you engaged in the journey during the week.
Groups are offered at various locations/times throughout the year or you can get a group of friends together to do FPU in your living room anytime.
Dave Ramsey has been there before. He went from millionaire to bankrupt and back. He learned these principles the hard way, through personal experience. He created Financial Peace University nearly 25 years ago after learning how to pay off debt, save and spend wisely, and build wealth. Today, millions have used the same principles to transform their lives.
At FPU you’ll get your questions answered by Dave Ramsey, his team, and trained facilitators on a wide range of topics;
