Join us for a seven-session study of the book of Esther. Esther's against-all-odds, rags-to-riches story has enthralled readers. Who doesn't want to know that our lives matter, that God has a purpose and a plan for us, even when life doesn't look the way we thought it would? For the Jews of Esther's day, the idea of life not looking the way they'd always imagined loomed overwhelmingly large.
Perhaps you are feeling the same way. The image of what you think your life should look like is marred by sickness, loss, betrayal, or broken relationships. We wonder if God can still use us, if He's still with us, if we are still His children.
Kelly Minter, our study teacher, invites us into the daring faith modeled by Esther and her cousin Mordecai- a faith rooted in the goodness of God and used to change the world. Our God is just as active and faithful today, and He has called us for such a time as this.
This group will meet at LCBC Clarks Summit on the lower floor. Child care is available.
