A new season often prompts us to start new habits – why not make joining a Group one of them? Groups allow you to connect with others over a similar season of life or shared interest. You can even connect with fellow men and women at your campus!
We’ve rounded up some unique Groups coming up for men and women. Check them out and see what jumps out at you!
Summer Activity Groups
Women’s Walk and Pray Group | Columbia-Montour
Connect with other women as you walking and praying through local parks together. The Group will meet the fourth Saturday of each month at 9am, May through October.
Hope Blooms - Farming Flowers to Heal Others | East York
Cut, arrange, tie, wrap ,and deliver flower bouquets to people going through loss, grief and challenging times. We can't wait to see you out on the farm!
Hiking, Kayaking, and Biking | East York
Join other outdoor enthusiasts from LCBC who share a passion for hiking, kayaking, and biking!
Pickleball Group | Ephrata
Pickleball is all the rage, and you can play with others at LCBC Ephrata. 3 different courts will be set up for varying skill levels.
Summer Bowling | Hanover
This Group is designed for beginner bowlers to have fun and meet new people from LCBC Hanover. We'll pray together prior to starting, and work to grow closer to Jesus as we enjoy the game.
Weekend Hiking Group | Harleysville
Enjoy being outdoors in nature. This Group will meet for walks and hikes on local trails while discussing the weekend message.
Golf Group | Harrisburg
Whether you are an experienced golfer or just learning how to play, this Group is for you. This Group will play using a scramble-style format to include those who may not play as often or are learning with more experienced players. This will keep the atmosphere fun and the pace of play up!
Outdoor Activities Group | Hazleton
This Group meets together to hike, camp, and more, all while connecting with each other. Activities range from beginner to more moderate intensity.
Putt and Prayer | Lebanon
Looking for family fun in the sun this summer? Join in for a monthly evening of miniature golf, prayer, and ice cream! This Group is open to all ages, so bring your whole crew.
Wild Faith: Hunting, Fishing, and Faith | Lebanon
Explore the great outdoors and see how God provides as hunting, fishing, and faith collide! Join in on Group trips from banding waterfowl to scouting for new spots. Open to men 15 and older.
Veterans Group | Manheim
In this Group, you’ll connect with other service members, veterans, and their families and follow the “Grit and Grace” study together.
Heart and Sole | Manheim
Increase your wellbeing by moving your body and connecting with others! This Group is for adults who enjoy being outside, walking, and connecting with others. After watching a 15-minute teaching video, we’ll discuss what we learned as we walk 3 miles on a local river trail.
Singles Activity Group | West Shore
Are you in your 30s or 40s and interested in having fun and finding a supportive community? Join this Group at various events local to the Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg areas.
LCBC Gamers | West York
Whatever game you might play, this is designed to be a community to meet other gamers who are part of our church. Weekly discussion questions are designed to get to know each other more and create an opportunity to game together throughout the week. All ages are welcome!
Monday Night Basketball | Wilkes-Barre
Come out and get some exercise with a game of Basketball! Games will be going on Monday nights at a local park near Wilkes-Barre.
Women’s Craft Group | Leesport
This group is BYOC – bring your own craft! In this Group, you’ll meet up with other women in the Willow Street area who love to craft.
Summer Playground Group | Manheim
A time for moms, dads, grandparents and guardians to come and connect while the kids burn energy this summer! This group is flexible and focused on making connections, so come whenever you can make it. We'll gather at a local park/playground where kids can have fun and adults can connect
